A small church was built in the sixth century above the place where Saint Efisio was imprisoned.
The church was modified many times over the following years.
Today the church has only one room with a ceiling shaped like a barrel and three chapels on each side.
The altar is raised.
The church contains three statues of Saint Efisio.
